R.M. White Company is a family business that was established in 1980 by Robert and Mary White after realizing the need for a better method of installation, and for newer materials used on refrigeration systems. In the late 1950's Robert began his insulation career as a 3rd generation insulator and built on the trade skills and methods he learned from his father and grandfather, both members of the Local 57. Common materials and installation practices at the time were simply insufficient for refrigeration and resulted in premature insulation system failure. Robert made the transition to rigid foams in the late 1970's and began developing new installation methods specific for refrigeration insulation in order to increase longevity and efficiency of the system.
R.M. White Company was purchased in 2016 by Dan White and continues to operate as a family owned business while maintaining the founding principles of quality, efficiency, and longevity. Throughout the years we have worked with many customers and associations in developing improved methods and standards for their specific insulation needs. We continually review and test new products as they become available ensuring our customers receive high quality, long lasting insulation systems.
